Rumors that Nokia has been working on a Windows based tablet is not new in the market and now new rumors revealing even more details including an image and specifications of the tablet have surfaced the net. Paul Thurrott of Supersite for Windows has posted of forthcoming Windows tablets, expected to hit the markets in fall. Interestingly, the same list also includes Nokia’s ‘Sirius’ Windows RT tablet. The website also notes some of the specifications and features of the alleged Nokia tablet.
The leak suggest that the tablet will feature a 10.1 inch IPS full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm processor. It is said to have a 6.7 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and is expected to come with pre loaded apps of Nokia.
Along with the specifications, Thurrott has also published an image that reveals that the Nokia Sirius tablet would resemble the company’s Lumia devices, very much in-line with earlier reports. The tablet is seen with a rear camera housed at the top left corner and presumably a glass back. However, the image of the tablet is of low-resolution and does not shed much light on the overall design of the tablet.
The cost of device is expected to be around $499 ( Rs 31,690) which is definitely very high considering it runs on the Windows RT OS but the price includes a multi functional cover with keyboard.
